CIRPAL MEON Technology

01 / MEON Technology

The physical engine of the system.

MeSentia’s MEON technology is being developed to turn qualified difficult secondary feedstocks into structured products. The value lies in the combination of material, process and geometry.

The MeSentia technology platform

A route from secondary material to engineered product.

Difficult thermoplastic streams need a product route that fits their material characteristics.

The MEON development approach brings material preparation, process control and forming together. Its structured-product concept creates an application for qualified secondary feedstocks beyond conversion into conventional resin alone.

Suitability must be established for each feedstock and product combination. Variability, contamination and repeatability remain engineering questions.

Processing logic

Four connected engineering tasks.

A development sequence, not a claim of unrestricted material compatibility.

  1. 01

    Qualify the feedstock

Characterise the secondary material and define which inputs are suitable for the intended product.

  2. 02

    Prepare & control

Establish material preparation and process parameters that can handle an agreed input window.

  3. 03

    Form the structure

Bring the material into an engineered component geometry with ribs and chambers.

  4. 04

    Validate the application

Test the resulting product and manufacturing consistency against its intended use.

Inputs and outcomes

Material diversity.
Application discipline.

The feedstock and the structure have to be considered together.

Mixed, contaminated or fibre-containing thermoplastic streams may be candidates for qualification. Their use depends on the process window and the resulting product’s requirements.

The MeSentia investment case

In plain language

The technology, explained.

What is MEON technology?

MEON is MeSentia’s physical machine and process technology platform. It is being developed to turn qualified secondary thermoplastic feedstocks into structured products, with the pallet as a focused development application.

Can MEON process any waste stream?

No. Feedstock suitability depends on composition, contamination, preparation, process conditions and product requirements. A material stream needs qualification for the intended application.

Is the machine image a production installation?

No. The machine image on this site is a concept rendering from the supplied project material. It is not a photograph of an installed production line.

What is the relationship to CIRPAL?

MEON addresses physical production. CIRPAL is the planned digital layer connecting the resulting product to material records, lifecycle events and return coordination.
